General Manager - Randy Hodge
Randy grew up in Madison, Ct. where he worked in a number of shoreline restaurants during his high school and college years. He currently lives in Branford Ct., and has operated critically acclaimed restaurants from Hartford to South Norwalk as well as being a member of corporate management teams that have developed conceptual boutique and high volume bars and restaurants in Connecticut and New York.
Chef - Brian Wright
Brian Wright has always loved food. A native Madison, CT he
started at Cafe Lafayette in 1995 before chasing his dream in
Fairfield County where he was hired as Sous Chef at Rowayton
Seafood. He then became Chef at Boxcar Cantina, known for
a southwestern flair. An opportunity to show his new american
continental skills came next where he was Chef de Cuisine at
the highly rated Rebecca's in Greenwich, CT. We are happy
to have him with us at Cafe Routier.
Pastry Chef - Nancy Anderson
Nancy was born into a family of bakers, both parents worked in her father's bakery in New Haven. Nancy worked 11 years for Culinary Concerts, a highly respected caterer in Branford, CT where she trained under several leading pastry chefs. She learned more while attending the Culinary Institute of America, and in 1995, she became THE pastry chef at Culinary Concerts. She left in 2001 to become the pastry chef for Steve's Centerbrook Café and Esteva. In 2002, she joined Café Routier as our first pastry chef. Nancy's motto is "everyday is an adventure in creating wonderful desserts".
