Café Routier has been a qualified fixture on the Connecticut shoreline for close to ten years. After a recent and seamless ownership change, Café has now established itself as the elite in dining. While the chef and product has stayed the same, a new identity and “buzz” has formed, making it easy to see a growth is emerging.

After extensive dining room renovations in Spring ’05 that “urbanized” the restaurant bringing a plush feel to the environment, the team here at Café Routier has now set its sights on the lounge and planning to fully renovate our bar area in February ‘06 to accompany the down tempo jazz and cutting edge smooth lounge-house music we offer. The result will be a fusion of premier food and wine with tantalizing sounds and lounge.

That is where you come in! What we are looking for is an individual tired of the monotony that surrounds much of this restaurant business.  Imagine working in a place where the food represents itself and the staff are thrilled to present it. With our expansion imminent, we are searching for that one individual that can develop with our team and ultimately take charge of it while we search for the next site to further represent our vision.
