Cafe Routier opened to critical acclaim in 1996. Originally "The Truckstop Cafe" it has grown from a wee 30 seat Bistro into what appears today in Westbrook, CT. Two dining rooms, a lounge and bar offer a broad breadth of menus and ethos for whatever MOOD.

Cafe Routier, Bistro & Lounge serves a three paneled menu format;
   - Regional (a different region of the world every 8 weeks
   - Seasonal (locally sourced seasonal ingredients)
   - and a Specialty menu of classic Bistro fare.

A 40 seat lounge serving 'small plates' and tapas adjoins the bar area. We wanted to create a place where you could leave the world behind and have a great meal, friendly service and be comfortable. And most importantly we’d like you to have some fun.
